Tuck terms and software licence

Tuck is free software. Its licence is the GNU General Public License, version 3. This page says what that covers and what it does not.

Updated

The software licence

Tuck is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0. The full text is linked here and ships with the app. In short, the GPL lets you run the program, study its source, change it and share it, under the licence’s conditions. Read the licence itself for the exact terms.

The GPL includes a disclaimer of warranty and a limitation of liability (sections 15 and 16). Tuck is provided as is, as the licence describes.

Upstream notices

Tuck is a modified version of Thaw (GPL-3.0), which is derived from Ice. Tuck forked Thaw on 3 October 2026; the notice of modifications ships with the app. Anyone who receives Tuck is entitled to its complete corresponding source under GPL-3.0; how the source is delivered will be published with the first release.

Tuck Pro

Tuck Pro is planned and not on sale. No purchase terms exist yet because nothing is for sale. Terms for Pro will be published here before it can be bought.
