One email about this launch. How we use your email.

You can also request a notification by email. Send the draft to complete your request.

What you will download

  • A disk image (DMG) of the free Tuck app.
  • Updates through Sparkle, with stable and beta channels on one feed at tuckmenubar.com/appcast.xml.
  • Signature and notarization checks you can repeat yourself, published with the release.

The download page will include verification results for the published installer.

macOS 27Support is in development. See the macOS 27 status page.
PermissionsAccessibility is required. Screen Recording is optional.
AccountNone.
PriceFree core. Tuck Pro is planned and not on sale.

Install steps, once the DMG is out

  1. Open the disk image and drag Tuck to Applications.
  2. Open Tuck from Applications. macOS will ask you to confirm the first launch.
  3. Grant Accessibility when asked. Screen Recording can wait. See the permissions guide.
  4. Open Layout in Settings and drag icons into Hidden or Always-Hidden.

How the download will be verified

The project documents the checks a release is meant to carry: an Apple Developer ID signature and notarization, a Sparkle signature on update archives, a Sigstore signature on the disk image, build provenance and a software bill of materials. Those pipelines are not running yet. When the first release is out, this page will list the exact results for that file.

See how to verify builds.

Source code

Anyone who receives Tuck is entitled to its complete source under GPL-3.0; how the source is delivered will be published with the first release. A build you make yourself from it is unsigned.
